I checked with few community members and asked them to share their feelings for this amazing community and what they said is worth 2 Millions 🙂
I don’t recall a time when I wasn’t on the Success Community, so I guess since 2009. The Success Community has provided me with answers to challenging questions, with life-time friendships, with career opportunities, and with opportunities to give back to others.
The Success Community is family…pure and simple. It’s people helping people. As I say on my blog every week: For me, one of the greatest strengths of the Salesforce Ecosystem is its people and the connections that are shared.“
“I am the solo admin for Prescribe Wellness. I live in South Carolina with my husband, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 year old, several fish, and a partridge in a pear tree. We are a nerd family and proud of it!
I have been active in the community for a little over a year. I enjoy taking time out of my day to help answer questions for others as I have learned a wealth from the community members. I see this as paying it forward for everything I have gained. Answering questions also helps me learn more as much wiser people will often have more elegant solutions that I hadn’t thought of. It’s a daily experience of knowledge sharing that I value greatly.
The Success Community is where I owe more beers to more people than I could probably ever afford! “
“My name is Jan Vandevelde, a fanatic Salesforce administrator & developer, Co-Leader of the Belgium User Group who loves learning and sharing what I’ve learned working on the Force.com platform. And I’m one of those few people in the world who can honestly say that their job is also their hobby 🙂
I’ve been on the success community since I became a Salesforce Business Process Consultant at my company in October 2013 and immediately fell in love with it. It has been one of my primary go-to resources for getting help, because the community is really active and full of people ready to help! Because of that I decided to return the favour and help others too. It’s only by giving and receiving that the community proves it’s current value and honestly I’ve tried to help some people with problems I never faced before myself, so just helping out others provides you with new and different insights and knowledge. I see it as another way to learn more about the platforms capabilities 🙂
For Community,I would use a quote from Arthur C Clarke: I don’t pretend we have all the answers within the community. But the questions are certainly worth thinking about!“
“I am QA Associate, introduced to Salesforce on 2014, Mumbai WIT User Group Leader, love to dance, explore and love to extend the knowledge on Salesforce. I am still newbie to SFDC.
I’ve been on the success community since I became a Salesforce Business Process Consultant at my company in October 2013 and immediately fell in love with it. I Started actively participating on Success Community from past 1 year approximately. Got an Opportunity to connect with SF geeks across the Globe. Got explored to very new features of SFDC, while trying to solve the questions on Answer forum.
It has been one of my primary go-to resources for getting help, because the community is really active and full of people ready. I love the BEST Answers concept! User Groups are fantastic! Trailhead, Release Readiness, Button Click Admins, Women in Tech groups !!As usual our SF punch line is perfect, Networking – Sharing Knowledge – Success 🙂“

“After getting out of the Army as an Infantry Team Leader I got involved in the SalesForce VetForce program via Veterans2Work. I now am a Certified SalesForce Administrator and Force.com Developer.
I got involved with the SalesForce Success Community through the Veterans2Work VetForce program back in early 2014. I found the community to not only be a great place to meet mentors like David Liu, Bill Greenhaw, Nathan Pepper, and Chris Duarte but it also contributed to my career success I am experiencing today. I highly recomend it to anyone involved in the SalesForce eco system regardless of their knowledge… there is always something new to learn and awesome people to meet.
The SalesForce Success Community is the place to go for the best business recipes and friendly meetups.”
“My name is Kristen Walden – I’ve been working with Salesforce for 7 years in the Columbus, Ohio area. I’ve been Co-Leading the local User Group for about 5 years, and helped form the local Women in Tech (formerly Girly Geeks) chapter a little over a year ago.
I’ve been a member of the success community for quite some time now – looks like my earliest post was from September 2013. As part of the community I’ve been able to join a number of groups where I can both be helped with my questions/issues and hopefully provide support and answers to others. I’ve received so much help over these past few years with everything from error trouble shooting to report creating. I do try to log into the community daily to review questions and posts from others to see if I can provide any help.
I’m a “solo Admin” working from home for an org of 500 seats and there are some days when I just need to know that I’m not alone, being a member of the Success Community helps eliminate that lonely feeling.“
“I started my career in Salesforce and it’s been 2 and a half years , am still not getting bored of it . To be frank am loving it more and more . I will continue to help / bug others 😛 in every possible way . No wonder the community crossed 2 million members and still be awesome as it was . #Success2M
I have been on Success Community from 2015 August . Initially i used to give one or two answers a day , but day – by – day i got addicted to it . The co-operation , co-ordination , awesome admin tips are some of the things which made the success community my top visiting website nowadays . The amount of learning experience i get here is immense and valuable . Half of the times even though i don’t know the answer to the questions , i try exploring / researching and then answer . Because of this there are many things i learned from the community . It gives me a immense joy and sense of importance to give back to the community in every way possible
Alone am a SPARK , Together we are Bonfire !!! “
“I am the Digital Marketing Representative for a large bulk haul trucking company. I am in charge of all digital communication as well as training, maintaining, and developing our Salesforce Org. #SoloAdmin
I spend a couple hours every day on the success community. It is the first place I turn when I need help or advice. If it wasn’t for the support I have received on success community, I wouldn’t be where I am as an admin. And now that I am a user group co-leader, I get to payback the help I receive.
The success community is a great place to go to keep a pulse on what is going on with the platform.“
