In this blog – ‘ Building a Flow Email Composer for Outlook in Salesforce’, I am going to demonstrate to you how you can build an email composer using flow in Salesforce which would send emails from Outlook via Salesforce.
Building an External Service
To build this flow, We would require to set up External Service for sending emails, so make sure you set up External Service by going through this blog step by step: Writing an Open API 2.0 Schema for Salesforce Enhanced External Service.
In the above blog, you will also get to know how to develop the Open API 2.0 Schema. The External service will automatically generate all the Apex Classes and methods as per Open API2.0 Schema passed to it. For this external service, we are going to get below apex defined classes as per the definitions mentioned in Open API2.0Schema:
Go to set up ->Flows -> New Flow
And then follow the below video to how to create a flow using email screen component , assignments and Action driven from the External Service created earlier.

Make sure to check your spam inbox while testing the email flow screen. It happened with me and I had to mark the email sender spam once.
I hope you now know building a Flow Email Composer for Outlook in Salesforce.
